Housing Opportunities for Persons with AIDS (HOPWA)
Program Technical Assistance
CSI, in partnership with AIDS Housing of Washington provides HOPWA technical assistance (TA) throughout the Southeast as a part of the National HOPWA Technical Assistance Program, Office of Community Planning and Development, U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD). HOPWA TA is available to grantees, project sponsors, and other eligible organizations operating or seeking to develop a program for low-income persons living with HIV/AIDS. CSI provides grantees and project sponsors TA to develop or strengthen their HOPWA programs. In most cases, HOPWA TA is provided to eligible organizations free of charge as a service from HUD. TA is offered through conference calls, email, online conferencing or onsite.

Requesting HOPWA Technical Assistance: To request TA, please complete the Technical Assistance form. Project sponsors are requested to work in conjunction with their grantee in requesting technical assistance. All technical assistance requests should be approved by the local HUD Field Office responsible for the oversight and monitoring of the grant.
