Through various community interventions, CSI works to increase local capital to improve the lives of low-income persons with special needs. Using a community-in-environment perspective, CSI assesses the assets and barriers in the local community. Partnering with local community stakeholders, a joint community vision is developed to guide future work. CSI staff is skilled in multiple interventions such as community organization, capacity development, advocacy and leadership development.
Through these interventions, CSI seeks to increase the assets of the each community.
